The rule of visiting the Finnish sauna is a shower, especially after a workout, but without soap, so that the skin does not dry out later. Try not to wet your head either. The sauna session should not take longer than 12-20 minutes. After taking a shower, go to the steam room. Given the high temperature in the sauna, it is best to gradually get used to the temperature, starting from the lower bench, where the heat is less. 

When you first enter, you need to sit on the first shelf for 2-4 minutes, at a temperature of about 80 ° C, until the pores of the skin open. After the first entry, we recommend that you cool down by sitting next to the Finnish sauna and drink herbal tea, then take a shower or go to the pool, but it is better not to swim, but just stand in the water. Before the second call, you need to take a twenty-minute break, during which you can do the procedures on the Russian stove.

The second run can take up to fifteen minutes. Now you can sit longer and climb higher. Then repeat the same scheme - cool down again. And finally, the final third run. Experts especially recommend several trips of short duration for overweight people. As a rule, 2-3 passes are enough, but you can also increase it. The last entry into the steam room should be done at a lower temperature so that the body gradually cools down.

When visiting a sauna, you should remember about important rules:

  • you cannot take a warm shower after a steam room - only a cold one;
  • immediately after the sauna, it is not recommended to go into a cold room or into a snowy room; 
  • Professionals recommend quenching your thirst during and after the sauna with a cup of warm herbal tea. It quenches thirst better than chilled one and contains many beneficial substances.

Finnish saunas are heated to 80-100 degrees. This temperature is considered the healthiest for the body. Wipe off very slowly so as not to sweat again, Cool down, plunge into a pool of cold water, shower or visit the snow room. After all the procedures, you can drink herbal tea.
